[WOLUWE SAINT LAMBERT] "Figurative plan of the commune of Woluwe St. Lambert. Department of the Dyle, district of Brussels, canton of Woluwe St. Etienne". C. 1800. Plan at the "scale of six hundred meters", 128 x 191 cm, pen and ink on paper, enhanced with watercolor. Wrapped in tissue at the time. Paper evenly browned, small marginal tears, a few pinholes on the corners. Remarkable document, very detailed with representation of wooded and cultivated areas, ponds, buildings, etc., adorned with a pretty compass rose and a large basket of flowers. Accompanied by: - Certified copy signed by Leuckx, 1st class surveyor, of the "Tableau indicatif des propriétaires des propriétés foncières de la commune...". S.l., [c. 1800]. in-fo, [2]-97 ff, pen and brown ink on rectos only. Contemporary half tan basane, green paper boards, red leather title-stamp on front board, spine ribbed, gilt fillets. Worn, damaged headpieces. Remarkable documents established for the heirs of Lamberts (Bruxelles), one of the main owners of the woods and lands of this commune. Among the other owners: d'Hinnisdael (Liège), de Ligne (Brussels), chapter of Ste-Gudule (Brussels), hospice St-Jean (Brussels), etc. JOINTS: - MARIE-THÉRÈSE d'AUTRICHE - Lettres patentes d'autorisation et de "plein pouvoir" pour la vente de la terre dite "de Gouwdelle" à Woluwe-Saint-Pierre (Bruxelles), au sieur Gilles Poels. [10] pp. in French, signed by baron de Beelen, baron de Cazier, Jean de Witt, Gaspard François Baudier; large red wax seal (diam. 11.5 cm) with the arms of the Empire, in original zinc case. Deed of sale of land confiscated from the Jesuits following the suppression of their order in 1773. Soiling, seal detached but quite complete. - Receipt of the amount of the sale, for 806 livres 15 sous. Brussels, 30 November 1774. Bifolio of paper, [1] p., signed Pierre Joseph Antoine de Lannoy, preposé à la recette générale des biens des jésuites, countersigned by the baron de Cazier, J. de Witt and G.F.
