In-8, 255 x 160 mm, Bradel black half-maroquin with corners, gilt head, in double cover (NRF & "Les XX"), spines preserved (spine very slightly and uniformly faded, tiny scratch at the head of the upper jaw). "First current edition" with the completion of printing of June 20, 1911. Slipped in the copy, 1 l.a.s. from an unidentified addressee to Maxime van Nieuwenhuyse. 1 p. in-8, paper with the letterhead of the Grafton Hotel in London, envelope kept: "My dear Maxime, Please come here on Sunday before three o'clock. André Gide will be here. I will introduce you." Provenance: ex-libris Maxime van Nieuwenhuyse. A. Naville, XXXVII.
