ORIGINAL EDITION of this album illustrated with 62 portrait plates sketched by Ex, published on the occasion of the inauguration of the Albert Canal and giving a brief description of the main Belgian industrial flagships, most of which have now disappeared. Edition of 300 numbered copies (no. 47 printed for Valéry Cousin). Enriched copy with the Indian ink portrait of Valéry Cousin, signed by Ex (drawing f. entirely browned). Valéry Cousin, pictured on plate 36, was Managing Director of Usines, Boulonneries et Étirage de La Louvière, director of Cofinindus, Usines métallurgiques du Hainaut, Gilisco and, finally, Aciéries de Haine-Saint-Pierre et Lesquin. He was also the last private owner of the Chevetogne estate until his death in 1969. JOINT, DU MÊME: - Finance internationale (Belgique). Preface by Louis Franck (Bruxelles, H. et M.
