[MANUSCRIBES] TRAVEL JOURNAL [from Belgium to Germany]. S.l., (19 December 1832 - 31 March 1833). In-8, in sheets, in cardboard folder with cords (discarded). Manuscript. 489, [1 bl.], [12] pp. Written in brown ink. "The French under the walls of Antwerp have just seized the telescope of St. Lawrence, they fled from it on the 20th day of the siege. Lebeau's ministry remains in office in spite of the resignation offered by these ministers; first news from England on the outcome of the elections [...] it is in the midst of these political events that we leave Belgium, to travel through the different states of Germany." This trip departs from Brussels on December 19th in a post office chair. A table at the end details the itinerary. The author and his companions will stop in Liège, Aachen, Cologne, Dusseldorf, Castel... Prague, Vienna ... Mainz. They will be back in Brussels on March 31, 1833. Interesting and well-documented story.
