[ALMANACH] Daniel MONTANUS - Almanach ofte oprechten Nederlandschen hemel-meter voor 't schikkel-jaer ons Heern Jesu-Christi M. DCC. LXXII. [...]. Tot Gendt, by de weduwe van Michiel De Goesin, [1772]. In-8 narrow, 200 x 80 mm, brown calf, gilt stippling around the boards, central gilt plate depicting a ship at sea, smooth threaded spine decorated with a repeated gilt fleuron (period binding). (Worn, headpieces missing, jaws partially split, corners dull or even bare, traces of closing cords, lower white guard missing). Almanac decorated with a title vignette (taken from the part title "Prognosticatie"), 12 emblematic scenes in the calendar, a vignette with the arms of the castellany of Ghent and an initials, all woodcut. Title and calendar printed in red and black. This almanac was published by M. De Goesin from 1733 to 1761, then by his widow and daughters until 1807.
