[BELGIAN SCHOOL] DRAWINGS. Lot of 19 drawings, portraits or landscapes, mostly from the Belgian school. 19th c. (except 1). Various sizes, on paper. Good condition. - Attributable to Nicaise DE KEYSER (1813-1887) - Set of 3 portraits in ink and pen. On paper, various sizes from 125 x 180 to 235 x 180 mm. A young woman in profile, an oriental couple whose man is wearing a keffiyeh and a bearded old man in profile. The latter bears the mention in brown ink "Drawn by Mr. De Keyzer, at the session of October 8, 1863". - Charles LIGNY (1819-Ixelles, 1889) - Animated scene illustrated with 3 children. 150 x 225 mm. Under a cardboard mat. Pencil and brown ink. The reverse side bears the name of the artist in brown ink and a very small sketch of a face in profile. - "Paul and Virginia: The Hope of Pain". Late 18th c. (?). 95 x 113 mm. Small wash, on laid paper, inspired by an edition of Paul et Virginie by Bernardin de Saint Pierre, representing the death of Virginie. - PAYSAGES. A collection of 12 anonymous drawings, except for 2. 19th c. On paper, various sizes: from 155 x 190 mm to 233 x 305 mm. Some pieces are faded. Pencil, 1 wash, 1 drawing in brown and white ink. 2 drawings bear the name of E. Van Loffels. Farms, view of a mountain village, river & bridge, 1 mill. A drawing titled "Small cottage of the Verrerie". - L. V. W. - Portrait of a man. 1892. 215 x 173 mm, pasted on brown paper. - A. D. M. (?) - Drawing of a man in profile, carrying a rake. 145 x 120 mm. Partially pasted on paper support. Drawing in ink. SET 19 PIECES.
