ALIDOR JAMIN
ALIDOR PSEUDONYME DE PAUL JAMIN (LIèGE, 1911-IXELLES, 1995) - "Bécassine se réserve" after Pinchon. Set of 3 satirical drawings. 220 x 230 mm, each. 1 drawing puts in scene the General de Gaulle under the features of a marquise and Georges Pompidou, in parrot in a cage; the drawing carries two legends written in the brown ink. The second one, evokes "Vive le Québec libre! In the third, Bécassine shouts "Vive la Bretagne libre!" and provokes the ire of the marquise-general who breaks her parasol on her back. 3 PIECES SET.
