Paris, Librairie universelle, (1905). Large folio, brown jansenist chagrin, five-ribbed spine, gilt head, cover not preserved (worn and rubbed binding, fragile jaws). First edition of this translation illustrated in black and sepia by František Kupka (1871-1957) with an illustrated title, 4 full pages and 2 large vignettes, some lettering and caps. Text framed with floral borders drawn in various colors. Edition of 517 copies, this one not numbered, on hollande. Mahé, I, 394. Monod, I, 2175.
