Paris, Georges Crès, "Le Théâtre d'art", 1927. In-8, 202 x 145 mm, green chagrin, double gilt fillet on the boards, five-ribbed spine, gilt head, cover preserved (spine slightly and uniformly faded). Color frontispiece, 1 full-page woodcut, ornamentation and headbands in black. Edition of 1078 numbered copies. One of 1050 on Rives vellum (n° 860). Provenance: ex-libris Maxime van Nieuwenhuyse. ATTACHED: - André MAUROIS - The Silences of Colonel Bramble. Original drawings by Bernard BOUTET de MONVEL engraved on wood by GASPÉRINI. Paris, Bernard Grasset, (1920). In-8, 270 x 180 mm, red jansenist morocco by Ed. Klein, four-ribbed spine, inner border, gilt edges, cover and spine preserved, in a lined slipcase (spine uniformly, small tear to 1 rib).
