A title-frontispiece, the portrait of the author engraved by B. Audran after P. Mignard and 31 figures out of text after Brissart illustrate this reprint whose privilege was granted to Michel David. The latter granted it to 8 booksellers of which J. Trabouillet. The intaglio figures, imitated from those of Brissart in the 1682 edition, have been slightly adapted to the 1710 fashion. Edition containing "La Vie de Molière" by Grimarest, the "Lettre critique à M. de..." and the "Addition à la Vie de M. de Molière" by Grimarest. Lacroix, 299. Worm attack through vol. 2, small brown ink stain reaching a few pages of vol. 4 in the upper margin, as well as in vol. 8. A pleasant copy.
