Henri BOSCO - Set of 15 first editions, most in 2nd paper, some with signed autograph dispatch from the author. Among these, a very fine copy of Le Rameau de la nuit in a binding by Alix.

In-8, midnight-blue half-maroquin with stripes signed Alix, blue-tone marbled paper boards, smooth spine decorated throughout with a gilt branch, gilt title, gilt head on small witnesses, light-blue marbled paper lining and endpapers, cover and spine preserved, in bordered slipcase. A fine copy. First edition. One of 165 numbered first copies on pur fil d'Arches (no. 41).
- Monsieur Carré Benoît à la campagne (Paris: Charlot, 1947). In-8, green half-maroquin with stripes signed Monique Bousseaud, green-tone marbled paper boards, smooth spine decorated with small salmon and lavaliere mosaic circles and lozenges, gilt title, gilt head, same paper lining and endpapers (spine uniformly faded). First edition printed in an edition of 500 numbered copies on white satin-finish vellum, the only large paper (no. 463). Autograph signed letter from the author to André Mélon. Provenance: André Mélon bookplate.
