In-4, burgundy wedge-cut half-shell, spine with five nerves (bound copy). xii, [10], [2 bl.], 830 pp. Contains technical and consecrated terms relating to science, religion, diplomacy, public and international law, political economy, trade, industry, etc. Anatole Adrien Billequin (1837-1896), a French missionary, arrived in China in 1866. In 1871, he became professor of chemistry and natural history at the Imperial College of Tongwen guan languages.
