In-12, 185 x 135 mm, crimson morocco signed Semet et Plumelle, framed with cold filets on the boards, mouse grey morocco lining framed with gilt filets and a red morocco scroll, crimson moiré silk endpapers, five-ribbed spine, caissons decorated with cold filets, gilt edges, parchment cover illustrated with a vignette by Georges Minne and spine preserved, in a lined slipcase 202, [2] pp. ORIGINAL EDITION. Limited edition of 30 copies, one of the 5 first copies on Hollande Van Gelder laid paper. Very nice signed autograph letter from Maeterlinck to Charles Van Lerberghe. EXAMPLE WITH an autograph letter signed by the author on blue paper on the letterhead of "Les Abeilles / Avenue des Beaumettes / Nice", April 27, 1924. 2 p. in-4. He answers to a correspondent questioning him about the Elizabethan sources of the drama. Copy discovered by the Brussels bookseller Raoul Simonson, who devoted a study to it in the Bulletin du bibliophile (1953, n° 3, p. 137-146).
