Victor HALLAUX - In Naples. Familiar notes. [Frontispiece by Félix JASINSKI, illustrations by F. GAILLIARD]. Brussels, Henry Kistemaeckers, 1890. In-8, half calf, smooth threaded spine, gilt head, preserved cover (quilted) (Louis Gilbert). ORIGINAL EDITION illustrated with an etching frontispiece by Félix Jasinski and vignettes in black in the text by F. Gailliard. The author, Victor Hallaux (1835-1896), a liberal journalist, was a friend of Félicien Rops. These familiar notes had first appeared in La Chronique, on 9, 10 and 11 April 1890.
